If you wish to learn more about how I’ve calculated the Real Score for Jammy, please see the below sections!

Real Score

The basic information about Jammy is available on the website quite easily, including the fact that Jammy is operated by JAMMY ENTERTAINMENT LTD, which was incorporated in 2021.

For once, the contact details for the competition are also well plastered all over the website, but once you realise it’s not actually their address… Not sure how much good it is.

The physical address is an address to a cheap company formation service “Your Company Formations” in London, and also the free postal entry address is yet another third party mailbox service in Enfield by “Mail Boxes Etc”.

And some of the links on the website are just broken, or the website itself is just wrong. As an example, if you click on “Responsible Play” you get to the draw results, and if you click on “Play Now” under their FAQs… You just get a 404 page.

Jammy Review - 404

So, while lots of the basic information is available, the competition does appear to have a certain consistent lack of professionalism throughout the website.

Jammy does have a dedicated Winners page much like many other competition. While it does look like there’s a good amount of ‘social proof’ for having winners, most of these people are… Well… No offence to anyone, but if you’re posing with a scratch card or a branded promotional mug and touted as a ‘winner’ of the competition? To me, this seems a bit silly on both the winner’s part and the competitions part.

Jammy Review - Winners Page

The pictures do however seem very genuine, so at least there’s that.

There are also results pages shown with winners names and ticket numbers. It does need to be pointed out that some of the people’s names are “jammy”-related goofy nonsense, but I’m guessing this is more to do with the quirky community they have going on rather than anything weird.

Jammy Review - Results

Jammy performs weekly draws live on their socials, and while it appears the live draws are done in a similar fashion to most competitions that is genuine enough (using a random number generator); it does need to be pointed out that their live draws are a bit… Nuts, I suppose.

Jammy - Live Draw

But I suppose that makes the draws more entertaining, if they are silly. So all well and good.

However, as the majority of the draws are auto draws, there is very little that can be said how the majority of the draws are performed.

Jammy operates in a similar fashion to other competitions listed on this site. As a prize draw with a free entry method.

One difference is though, that Jammy does not ask questions like other competitions do, rather, you are able to just purchase tickets and check out. Which, to me sounds a bit like gambling. (Even though the questions are rarely a good way of being compliant with the Gambling Commissions rules in the first place)

As far as the free entry method goes, you are able to find a link to the terms, which seem pretty standard.

However (I feel like I’m writing ‘however’ a lot in this review!), the address they use for the free postal entry does not belong to them. It belongs to a “Mail Boxes Etc.” location in Enfield. Therefore, as Jammy themselves don’t even get the postal entries, but rather this somewhat funky looking mail box service… I somehow doubt that the postal entries will make the draws in a timely fashion… Which would beg the question whether it’s even worth sending postal entries in the first place (it is not, for any competition for that matter).

Jammy Review - Mail Boxes Etc

Therefore, due to the lack of any skill based element at all, and due to the postal entries going to a location of a budget mailbox service… As far as the Gambling Commissions guidelines go, I don’t think Jammy is doing things that well.

As Jammy has been operating since 2021, lots of pictures from winners, and as they have such an active community on social media; I think it’s safe to say that they do have a track record of sorts. Obviously with the above points mentioned, it’s not the greatest or the most professional looking – but there definitely is a track record that exists and that’s pretty much all I can say about that point…

Is a track record a good track record if you have hundreds of ‘winners’ winning your company’s merchandise? I suppose it could be.
